The Farmer Card is a banking debit card linked to a farmer’s personal bank account. It is being issued through Sonali Bank at the local level. With this card, farmers can receive financial support, buy farming supplies, and access different government services.
At the same time, the system will help build a digital database of farmers. This will make future planning and support programs more effective. This card is expected to make farming easier, more organized, and more profitable for farmers across the country.
The registration process for the Krishok Card has already started in the pre-pilot phase. Local agricultural offices are collecting information from farmers in selected areas.
